Lise Horton writes erotic romance, and erotic fiction as Lydia Hill. Words of Lust was her debut novel (Carina Press, 2013). As Lydia Hill, her erotic short stories: “My Master’s Mark”, which Library Journal called “surprisingly poignant”, is the closing story in Slave Girls: Erotic Stories of Submission, edited by D. L. King (Cleis Press, May 2014), and “Tryst of Fate” appears in Violet Blue’s Cleis Press anthology, Best Women’s Erotica 2015 (January 2105). Hold Tight is Lise Horton’s first novel with Loose Id. A graduate of Skidmore College with a degree in Education, she has worked in jobs as a diamond grader, theatre union assistant and bartender. She’s a former native of New York City who now lives in a suburb of Manhattan with her rescued feline fur friends and her books. Lots of books. Spending hours in her Certified Wildlife Habitat garden inspires her writing, allows her to commune with Mother Nature and keeps her calm after a day on the job as an assistant in a prominent entertainment law firm in New York City, where she enjoys the enthusiastic support of her co-workers for her literary endeavors. In a previous creative incarnation, Lise was a New York theatre actress, and an award-winning cabaret singer in some of Manhattan’s iconic clubs. She attributes her depth of insight in romance fiction to that training and experience. There is nothing quite as magical as seducing an audience with magnificent songs of love and longing; drawing them into the story and making their hearts yearn right along with yours. Those years helped fuel her desire to create and share torrid stories of love and passion as a romance author. Lise is a long-time member of Romance Writers of America.
