on the Loose Id Web site. Note: Loose Id may edit your biography due to space limitations. I grew up in Hollywood, California in a house constructed of old movie sets. No lie. My mom used to bang out TV scripts for old time shows like Sea Hunt and Bonanza. She was a creative soul who wrote from her heart and I’ll always consider her my muse. I’ve been writing for the last six years and have also worked as a stage manager, costume designer and production manager for several NYC community theatre companies while raising two amazing daughters who inspire me every day.
Why do I write paranormal romance instead of another genre? Because the moment I opened one of the original Wizard of Oz books, I became a fantasy freak, and then it was only a matter of time before I turned my eyes toward the other sex and started reading romance. From that moment the two blended together for me in a very delicious way. I have ten paranormal fantasy/paranormal romance books selfpublished under my real name, Gayle Parness.
“Dying for a Bite” is a first for me on many levels. It’s the first book I’ve written under my pen name, Marie Booth, it’s my first book with Loose Id and it’s the first ménage book I’ve ever written. It will not be the last. I’ve had more fun with Estelle, Maury and Nathaniel than I deserved and I intend to foray into the wilds of the shapeshifter community with my next ménage romance. Thank you, Loose Id staf , for taking a chance on a blended genre book.
