Full Description

Koko, a Lolita J-Pop mega star, embarks on a Eurasian Tour with both of her lovers, brothers Julian and Liam Van Zant. She calls Julian Daddy; his brother Liam is her Papi. Together, the three embark on a ménage à troi road trip like none other.

Following the recent death of her manager and adoptive father, Papa Ollie, Koko is mentally, physically, and emotionally barely ready to face a grueling road trip. Adding to her stress is a stalker, who shows up at the airport on day one. And while both of her men are loving and doting, will either of them be vigilant enough to keep her safe when her life is endangered?

  • Note: Although the protagonist, Koko, is well beyond the age of consent, she presents part time as a "little"; that is, she acts like a young girl. The sex in this series takes place between consenting adults, but those with a history of childhood sexual abuse or incest may find this triggering.
Excerpt
“Please tell me what you’re thinking, sweetheart.”

Koko tried to hide her face, but Julian pulled her face back to meet his gaze. “My life is so perfect now with you in it. I’m a little worried that maybe I shouldn’t have been so greedy and wanted Liam too, when everything with us feels this good all the time.”

“You weren’t too greedy.” Koko sighed heavily, and Julian gave her a serious look. “Are you trying to tell me you don’t want Liam to be part of our ménage à trois?”

“No. Not that.” Shaking her head, her breath shuddered, and she again pressed her face against his soft chest. She inhaled deeply, liking that his scent always managed to transport her seaside on a foggy morning. It was the scent of both ocean and forest combined. She tried to recall Liam’s scent and realized she couldn’t. “He scares me a little, and I know he wants to do other stuff with me, not just the normal sex stuff.”

Julian assured her, “He will never push you to do anything you aren’t ready for.”

“He wants me to go on a BDSM getaway with him, but I just met him…and I know he said he loves me but—”

“You don’t know him very well yet. I’m not surprised you’re scared. Honestly, you don’t know me very well either.”

Koko looked up at him. “You don’t scare me.”

“Are you this afraid because of the spanking he gave you?” Julian frowned, and she knew she wasn’t explaining it right. Koko took a deep breath, knowing it was now or never. She needed to tell him about Cara’s offer to mentor her, but she really didn’t have a clue where to start except to admit everything. “I think Daddy and Papi would be very mad to know I was keeping a secret, and I don’t want to lose you, not ever, especially not over something I should be discussing with you, not keeping inside, and if Liam found out I was keeping something so serious from him, especially after the lecture in the car about not immediately disclosing I had a stalker, he might never come back.”

“Koko, Liam is coming back. I promise. Please tell me whatever has you so upset, because it must be something very serious.”

She was chewing her bottom lip when she lifted her face. “I’m already scared because I kept a pretty serious secret.”

“Shh, no, no, baby girl; by telling me now, you are doing the right thing. Talk to me about what you are keeping inside; I will decide if we need to involve Liam or not.”

Koko nodded and admitted, “At practice, Cara asked me something, and she wants an answer by our next practice, but I don’t know what to tell her.”

Julian pushed her bangs out of her eyes. “What did she ask you?”

“She said she’s worried about me, about the relationship I have with you and Liam.”

“I see.”

“I told her that you were my manager and Liam was my personal assistant.”

Julian frowned, repeating, “Personal assistant?”

“I need a personal assistant, and he is already helping me with my websites, running errands, and acting as a gatekeeper. That was basically my last PA’s job description. Seemed like a natural progression for now.”

“Fine. What was her question?”

“She asked to be my mentor. I’m not even sure I know what that means except she would be someone to talk to about our relationship, but I don’t know if I’d be comfortable sharing what we do together with her. I mean, we’ve spent so much time together, and I feel we should be”—she searched for a word but came up with nothing better than friends, but that word just didn’t feel right—“closer than we are, but she is always so…” She shook her head, hoping to jolt loose words to explain the emotion choking her every time she thought about Cara, and spat the words, “Overbearing and sanctimonious.”

Julian arched his brow. “Sanctimonious? Really? Aside from the big black cross she wears that I assumed was more to chase away the vamps or a Goth fashion statement, she doesn’t seem overtly religious.”

Koko shook her head and narrowed her eyes, thinking harder about her word choice.

“But she really is! I mean, like, she is so hypocritical. It’s okay for her to be into BDSM and talk to anyone who will listen about the play parties she goes to and how many dicks she’s sucked, but I can’t have two Daddies?”

Julian looked stunned, then frowned. “I see.”

“I think she believes I am in a dangerous predicament because I have put two men in charge of me. She thinks you might hurt me. Not only emotionally and physically, but also financially. I told her you’re not a mean Daddy Dom, but I’m not sure that was acceptable. I’m not experienced enough to know a good one from a bad one.”

“She actually told you that we might try to hurt you emotionally, physically, and financially?”

Koko exhaled relief. “So now I am not keeping that secret. Please don’t be mad.”

“I’m not mad, sweetheart. I am sorry you had to bear the weight of this all afternoon. Cara overstepped by talking to you. The proper avenue would have been to communicate directly with either me or Liam, your Dominants, but I suppose if she thought we were abusive or gold diggers after your fortune, she wouldn’t trust us.”

“What should I tell her?”

“If Cara says anything else to you, tell her that she should discuss anything concerning you with one of your Daddies.”

“Thank you, Daddy.” Koko sighed, relieved. “So, no mentor?”

“A mentor is perfectly acceptable, but I’m not certain a part-time BDSM player would be capable of giving advice to a lifestyle little. I’m also a little confused why you didn’t tell Cara you already have a mentor, someone who is very involved in the Daddy-little lifestyle and also a neutral party.”

Koko frowned. “I do?”

“Dr. Serena Lesner, silly.”

Koko gasped. “Oh.”

“Remember? She explained to you that she is available to listen, answer questions, and give advice any time you need it? She also said she was going to arrange for you to be invited to the weekly play dates for other littles. That’s when Daddies and Mommies get to sit around discussing challenges and resolutions while the littles color or play games together.”

“I remember that now. I’m such a dummy.”

“No, Cara put you in a spot. Since you brought it up, I want to make certain we’re very clear on something. Your mental, emotional, and physical well-being is mine and Liam’s number-one priority. As our little, you are our world.”

Koko smiled and blushed. “I know that, Julian. I really do. Cara just really put me in a funk today and made me start seeing shadows where there were none.”

“I’m sorry she did that to you, because Liam asked me about a weekend alone with you, and possibly introducing some BDSM concepts and bondage play to you, and I told him I thought it was a good idea.”

Koko frowned, completely confused. “You do?”

“Sometimes being in an unfamiliar environment will help your mind accept a new experience as an exhilarating new adventure instead of a dreaded change in routine.”

“Huh, I hadn’t thought about it that way. You’re okay with it being just him and me because you trust him.”

“Just like he trusts me Julian gave her a half smile. “He’s okay with you being here with only me for two weeks, and our time together isn’t going to take away from the joy you feel when he comes back through the door.” He dropped his face a little lower just to make sure he had direct eye contact. “And after your adventure, you are going to be just as happy to return home to me, and knowing that makes me feel very good inside.”

Koko smiled. “I am kind of excited about being alone with Liam for more than a few hours.”

“Good.”

THE EARLIER ISSUES with Liam disciplining her suddenly became crystal clear. “Koko, I’ve known my brother a very long time, and if he was an abusive Dom or if I ever thought he would actually hurt a hair on that beautiful head of yours, I would have never invited him into this house, let alone our relationship, blood or not. Understand?”

She nodded and dropped her chin. Julian lifted it. “Koko?”

“I’m sorry.” Her eyes welled with tears. “No one knows I see a shrink. I don’t think I want to tell Cara about her. I keep the identity and emotional struggles I have in a secret part of me. I really can’t use Serena to defend my choices. I know that you and Liam treat me like a princess, and that’s what matters. I’m sorry she made me doubt what I know to be true.”

“No, you were misled by someone who had the right intentions but went about it the wrong way. Had she approached either of your Daddy Doms with her concerns, she would have immediately been directed to lifestyle educator Mistress Sere for verification that she is a neutral third party well aware of our relationship. We definitely wouldn’t violate your personal and medical privacy by revealing to Cara that Serena was also your doctor.”

“Ohh.”

“I also do not want you to worry about Liam or me stealing your fortune. Your attorney is aware Liam and I are assisting you, and will be drawing up a power of attorney so that I can manage your finances, but I have also signed papers that I will not have direct access to any of your assets or available capital beyond a general operations trust without prior approval from him after he first confers with you about your wishes. As your manager I will draw a paycheck based on industry averages, and Liam will draw a salary established off what the attorney believed was a fair amount for travel companion and life coach. All salaries and independent contractor fees for all your employees will be distributed by a payroll and management firm here in Seattle. Does knowing that make you feel better?”

Koko grinned at him. “I wasn’t ever worried. I knew I could trust you.”

Julian hugged her tight. “That is why Cara is worried about you. You trust too easily!”

Sequels can be hard Review by Teresa
Quality
This book is a structurally messier than the first and feels rushed. That's a shame because the characters remain quite interesting and I wished to spend more time with them. Despite the drawbacks it's still a fun read. If you enjoyed the first book, don't miss the second (and hopefully there will be a third!). (Posted on 9/30/2017)
