A "Not Quite New Year" Story!
During the nights leading up to Twelfth Night, it’s tradition for a duke to bestow gifts on his trusted, loyal, and beloved liegemen and lords, and at Marden Castle, the entire keep is in the holiday spirit. The boys, Joss and Tomas, are excited about the feasts and the gifts, and even Drake and Logan become wrapped up in finding the perfect presents for each other.
When a stranger from the North arrives, and Logan closes himself off from Drake, the holiday takes a turn for the worse. Drake is confused and angry, and before he does anyone physical damage, he leaves the keep to inspect the posts, putting distance between him and his beloved Logan.
But with an ultimatum hanging between the two lovers, will Drake return home to find he has been replaced? And with the weather turning deadly, will Drake even make it home? |
